Places & attractions
Voidokilia beach
Voidokilia is a beach of Messinia in the Peloponnese which is considered one of the most beautiful in the Mediterranean. It is located north of Pylos, on the Ionian coast, and is adjacent to the lagoon of Gialova from which it is separated by a strip of dunes. The beach and the wider area has been characterized as a place of special natural beauty and is part of the Natura 2000 Network. At the southern end of Voidokilia is Cape Koryfasio, where the ruins of the classic city of Pylos were located.
Palace of Nestor

The Palace of Nestor was an important center in Mycenaean times, and described in Homer’s Odyssey and Iliad as Nestor’s kingdom of “sandy Pylos”.
The site is the best preserved Mycenaean Greek palace discovered. It was a two-storey building with store rooms, workshops, baths, light wells, reception rooms and a sewage system.

Ancient Olympia
Ancient Olympia, one of the most important religious and social centres of Ancient Greece, is located in an area that justifiably shocked foreign travelers. The landscape is a masterpiece of nature, drowned in pines, cypresses, olives, oaks and laurels. It is here that the great athletic contests in the honour of Zeus, known as the Olympics, were held every four years for over 1,150 years, from 776 BC (or earlier) to AD 393.
Olive mill in Messinia
You will enjoy a carefree walk in nature, with a tour of the olive oil production sites. You will taste exquisite delicacies from olives and oil and you will have the opportunity to get the products of your choice, even cosmetics based on organic extra virgin olive oil.
